Mlkyachts DREAM charter a yacht DREAM yacht charter DREAM mlkyacht broker DREAM yacht holidays DREAM super yacht8 - Discover Dubai's Marine Thrills

Dubai is not all sun and sand. The desert may be mesmerizing to the wide-eyed wanderer, but an equally captivating treasure in Dubai is its rich and sparkling blue seas. Nestled at the entrance to the Persian Gulf, the waters off Dubai are a veritable reminder of a resplendent history and culture that traces its roots from the seas. Pearl diving, fishing, and seafaring were huge industries back in the days. The early settlers sailed the oceans to trade their goods with neighboring countries. And while pearl diving literally took a dive in the 1940s, fishing continues to thrive to this day, both for business and pleasure.

Amidst all the tall buildings and manmade wonders, tourists can still relive the good old days of Dubai through different marine leisure activities. Exciting yacht rental in Dubai, nostalgic dhow cruises, thrilling deep sea fishing, and adrenaline-pumping water sports are available all over the city’s beaches for anyone to avail.

Dhow cruise

Feel the nostalgia onboard a traditional Arabian dhow as it cruises along breathtaking sites in Dubai. From this wooden sailing vessel, you can see the seamless merging of the ancient and the contemporary wonders of this Arab paradise. You can take a dhow cruise along the Dubai Creek where you can see the wonders of Old Dubai, or along Dubai Marina where towering skyscrapers and luxurious yachts line the canal. Onboard, you are treated to sumptuous buffet dinner of international, Arab, and Asian cuisine, refreshing drinks, soothing music, and extraordinary entertainment like a magic show or a Tanoura dance.

Yacht charter

To get a whole new view of the city’s stunning skyline, watch it from the seas by taking a luxurious yacht rental in Dubai. Several companies offer yacht charter services, and take you on a relaxing cruise past the Dubai Marina and out to the Dubai seas. You are treated to fantastic views of the iconic Burj Al Arab and Atlantis The Palm as your yacht cruises around Palm Jumeirah. You can go on a day cruise and feel the warm sun and the refreshing sea breeze on your face; or you can take a sunset cruise where you can watch the golden Arabian sun slowly drift down the horizon. Night cruises are also available if you want to see the Dubai panorama light up in the cool evenings.

Deep sea fishing

With seas teeming in marine life, tourists, residents and locals will surely enjoy a fun fishing adventure in Dubai. Yachts and fishing boats are equipped with state-of-the-art fish-finding SONAR and complimentary fishing gear so you are guaranteed a catch that you can cook and eat onboard. The boat captain and crew are expert anglers, and they would be happy to assist you and give you tips and tricks on fishing. Kingfish, sailfish, hammour, grouper, barracuda, and trevally are among the many different fishes that you can catch in Dubai.

Watersports

Having all these sparkling waters and clear blue skies for most of the year, watersports are also popular past times in Dubai. In addition to swimming and snorkeling, you can also go kayaking, windsurfing, water skiing, jet skiing, and scuba diving. Beaches and resorts lining the Dubai coastline as well as in the East Coast of the UAE are perfect venues for these invigorating water adventures.

Dhow tours to Musandam

Only a couple of hours away from Dubai, spending the entire day on a cruise along the Musandam peninsula in Oman is a must-do for tourists. You can choose a tour to Dibba or to Khasab, both equally scenic and charming natural sites. In Dibba, you can enjoy lunch on an Omani dhow, banana boat rides, hand-line fishing, swimming, and diving in freshwater pools. In Khasab, you can have fun times with playful dolphins and fantastic views of the Hajar Mountains as your dhow cruises through the stunning fjords.

Mlkyachts KOKOMO charter a yacht KOKOMO yacht charter KOKOMO mlkyacht broker KOKOMO yacht holidays KOKOMO super yacht2 - 5 Things You Should Not Forget When Sailing In Heavy Weather

[ad_1]

If you enjoy sailing, it is likely that you will have to deal with heavy weather at one point or another. It’s not as if you can avoid heavy winds and bad sea conditions forever. Knowing what to do in such situations is one of the most important things that you need to learn as a sailor. Sailing in rough seas is dangerous, but it could also be fun especially if both you and your boat are capable enough to handle tough tides. Whether you deliberately set sail in bad weather or you’re already out in the open when the nasty winds hit, your only option is to keep sailing. Read on to know some helpful tips on how to survive heavy weather conditions while sailing.

1. Check your boat- Before you leave the dock, you need to ensure that your boat can handle strong winds and huge waves. If you are having doubts on the capacity of your boat, then don’t dare leave the port. Make sure that all your boat’s fittings are securely mounted and in the condition to take a great amount of strain. Check if the rigging and bailing equipment are fully functional.

2. Prepare the sails for reefing– Reefing the mainsail involves reducing the sail of the mainsail by lowering it partway. Mark your boat’s mainsail halyard in advance to reveal the setting for the 1st and 2nd luff reefing points. This will allow you to know how far you need to lower the halyard. Head into the wind then, start luffing your sails. If you’re a one-man crew and you don’t have a one line reef system, place the boat into a heave and then reef your sails.

3. Furl the Genoa– Furl the Genoa or the overlapping jib by blocking the wind with the mainsail. This will allow you to reduce the tension from the furling line and easily roll the Genoa to the right size.

4. Reduce your speed- Huge waves put the hull on a lot of strain, and may injure even the saltiest seaman. Reducing your boat’s speed will help you ease the ride. If you see a big set of waves coming your way, try to avoid the set by slowing down (spill more air), changing your direction or by doing both.

5. Reduce weight at the bow- Weighty anchors and ground typically tackle in the bow which causes pitching or an up and down movement. This in turn causes the bow to dive into the wave ahead or what sailors call “wave plunging”. When this happens, the boat shudders, filling the bow with water. Pitching also escalates the occurrence of seasickness among the people on board. Shift the weight toward the middle of the boat to reduce pitching problems.

Mlkyachts MEAMINA charter a yacht MEAMINA yacht charter MEAMINA mlkyacht broker MEAMINA yacht holidays MEAMINA super yacht24 - 8 TIPS To Rent A YACHT

[ad_1]

On a vacation, if you choose to travel by yacht, know that it may offer tons of fun. In fact, it’s going to be an ideal way to unwind after months of the busy schedule. A day on the sea will be an experience that you won’t forget, and yacht renting will make it a lot more special. In this article, we are going to give you a few tips that can help you rent a good yacht.

License

If you have the license and enough experience, you can rent a yacht to become your own captain. In this case, you can organize the necessary details. On the other hand, you may have to hire the services of a captain and crew as well.

Set a Plan

Before you look for a yacht, make sure you plan your journey in advance. Make sure you don’t hurry as this decision involves a lot of expenses. What you need to do is check possible travel dates, the departure place, the period of the trip and the locations you want to visit.

Choose a Company

Make sure you look for a good company. Ideally, you may want to choose a broker based on your plan. If you have a big budget, you can search for a luxury yacht with an experienced captain and crew. On the other hand, if you don’t need the crew, you can consider a bareboat instead.

Port of Departure

For specific search results, you can search for the port of departure as well. You may want to search for yacht websites, boating magazines, and ads. It’s a good idea to get in touch with the port authority, local yacht clubs or harbor master for recommendations.

Visit the Departure Site

It’s better to visit the port of departure in advance. You may find a bulletin board for yacht rentals in addition to free flyers, magazines or papers. These resources will help you compare your options so you can make the right choice.

Yacht Amenities

Make sure you consider the comfort level and amenities offered by the boat. If you are traveling with a group of people, it’s also important to take into account the size of the yacht.

If you and your friends want to relax and sunbathe on the boat, make sure the required services are available onboard. It’s important to know the limitations you have to face as well.

Total Expenses

Don’t forget to figure out the total expenses you have to pay for different yachts. Other things that you may want to consider are the cost of the fuel, insurance coverage, customs, and some other hidden fees.

Food and Drinks

Don’t forget to ask if food and drinks will be offered for free on the yacht. If they are not offered for free, figure out how much they will cost. If you are on a tight budget, you can bring your own food instead. It’s also important to read and follow the terms and conditions of the service provider. You have to be comfortable with them.

So, these are a few tips that you should consider before renting a yacht.

Mlkyachts MEAMINA charter a yacht MEAMINA yacht charter MEAMINA mlkyacht broker MEAMINA yacht holidays MEAMINA super yacht23 - Five-Star Cuisine on a Yacht

[ad_1]

For patrons who frequent Manhattan’s finest restaurants, five-star cuisine is now available on private yacht charters at a comparable price. With resumes rivaling many top chefs, Robert Stecker and Jorge Feliciano of Culinary Visions Catering, based in Long Island, New York, are serving an expanding clientele on the water including celebrities, Fortune 500 executives, politicians and heads of state. Will Smith, Tom Cruise, Donald Trump and Steven Spielberg have all sampled their fare.

Mr. Stecker and Mr. Feliciano began their exploration of non-traditional dining aboard the charter yacht Lexington in downtown Manhattan during the post 9/11 business recovery. They now offer French/American cuisine on over 30 luxury yachts available through Prestige Yacht Charters. The ships depart from marinas and clubs throughout the New York Metro area.

Creative gourmet selections are influenced by the seasons because the chefs hand select each ingredient. They prefer components such as venison, pomegranate and black truffles in the winter; sea bass, cherries and morels in spring; lobster, peaches and watercress in summer; and wild-game birds, butternut squash and white truffles in the fall. The chefs often present their preparations personally on beautifully arranged plates.

The following specialties come highly recommended: butter-poached Maine lobster with roasted wild mushrooms, gnocchi and cucumber blossoms; honey-glazed duck with fig, daikon radish and black currant; and Japanese Kobe filet with seared foie gras, spinach and Pinot Noir sauce.

The recipe for one of their signature dishes, “Crisp Paupiette of Sea Bass with Braised Leeks,” is included below.

After eating their fill, and perhaps enjoying tableside dessert presentations for crème brulée or cherry jubilee, diners can walk off their the meal by strolling along the decks, enjoy panoramic vistas, or just relax under the stars listening to the water gently lapping against the hull. The length of the entire experience is the same as top restaurants, about three hours.

The owner of Prestige Yacht Charters, David Hackert, lets diners choose from a wide variety of “host” ships by viewing interior and exterior profiles on his company’s website. All yachts are climate controlled with enclosed dining areas in case of inclement weather.

Crisp Paupiette of Sea Bass with Braised Leeks and Pinot Noir Reduction

Ingredients (yields 4 servings)

For the Paupiette of Sea Bass:

o 4 sea bass fillets, 7 ounces each, skinless, bones set aside for the sauce

o Salt and freshly ground black pepper

o 3 sprigs of fresh thyme: 1 sprig leaf chopped and 2 sprigs halved for garnish

o 2 very large baking potatoes, peeled

o 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

For the Leeks:

o 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

o 2 leeks, white part only, thinly sliced

o Salt and freshly ground black pepper

For the Sauce:

o 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, for cooking

o 1/2 cup peeled and chopped shallots

o 1/2 cup sliced white mushrooms, caps only

o 1/2 sprig fresh thyme

o 1 cup unsalted chicken stock

o 1 bottle (750 ml) of Pinot Noir or similar red cooking wine

o 1 tablespoon heavy cream

o 8 tablespoons unsalted butter

o Pinch of sugar

o Salt and freshly ground black pepper

o 1 tablespoon minced chives

Preparation

For the Paupiette of Sea Bass:

Make each fillet as rectangular as possible (about 5 inches by 2 inches) by trimming off uneven edges with a sharp knife. Salt and pepper the fillets, and sprinkle them with a teaspoon of chopped thyme.

Using a knife, shape each potato lengthwise by cutting off the rounded outer flesh to form 4 rectangular slices (do not cut off the tips of the potatoes). Using a vegetable slicer or mandolin, cut each potato lengthwise into very thin, long slices. Each potato should yield about 16 slices (8 slices are needed to wrap 1 fish fillet). Do not rinse the potato slices as their starch will help the wrapped slices stick together. Toss the potato slices in 1 tablespoon of melted butter, and add a pinch of salt.

Place a 10-inch square piece of parchment paper on the counter. Choose 8 potato slices of approximately the same length. Place a fillet of fish horizontally at the top of the parchment paper so you can match the length of the potato wrap to the length of the fish. Place the first slice of potato perpendicular to the fish, starting on the left side. Place a second slice overlapping the first one by about 3/8 inch from the left edge. Continue overlapping the potato slices until you have covered an area equal to the length of the fillet of fish.

Center the fish horizontally in the middle of the potato wrap, and fold the edges of the potatoes over the fish to enclose it entirely. Repeat the same process for the remaining fillets and refrigerate.

For the Leeks:

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the leeks and sweat until soft, about 4 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm on the side.

For the Sauce:

Heat the oil in a pot over high heat. Add the preserved sea bass bones, shallots, mushrooms and thyme sprigs, and roast for 8 to 10 minutes while stirring often. Add the chicken stock, bring to a boil and cook until completely reduced.

Add Pinot Noir, bring to a boil and reduce by half. Remove and discard the fish bones with a mesh skimmer. Reduce the sauce to 2 tablespoons. Add heavy cream, stir and bring to a boil over low heat. Whip in butter, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Strain the sauce with a fine mesh strainer, and keep warm on the side. (If the sauce is too thick, add a little water to thin it.)

To cook the paupiette of sea bass, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a large nonstick pan over high heat. Add the paupiettes of sea bass, and sauté until golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes on each side. If the fish is very thick, finish cooking in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes.

Presentation

Place a bed of leeks in the middle of 4 warm serving plates, and ladle the sauce around the leeks (about 2 tablespoons per plate). Place a paupiette of sea bass on top of the leeks, and garnish with 1/2 sprig of thyme. Sprinkle the plate with the minced chives.

Mlkyachts MEAMINA charter a yacht MEAMINA yacht charter MEAMINA mlkyacht broker MEAMINA yacht holidays MEAMINA super yacht21 - Factors to Consider When Buying Charter Boats

[ad_1]

There are thousands of boats around the globe available for charter. If you narrow your choices to bareboat or crewed charter, select the type of boat, size of boat and other extra features, choosing the destination and time of year, finding the right charter boat becomes easy. Large charter companies often have a fleet of charter boats from a few leading models and builders. They opt for the select models because their quality has been tested to withstand the test of time. The factors to consider when choosing a charter boat include:

· The power

Many people avoid extensive use of the boats and high engine hours. However, boats that just sit around and do nothing have as many problems. Therefore, when shopping for a charter boat, find out how often maintenance is performed. Some of the charter companies insist on the inspection of the prop, the system and the hull for every charter that returns, while other companies keep a maintenance log for every system on the boat. Nevertheless, it is important to get as much information as you can possibly get about the maintenance of the boat. Furthermore, find out about any serious damage to the structure and systems. A charter company should be able to disclose information where a particular boat has run up a reef and is now patched.

· Phase-out

The phase-out is a very critical aspect in the life of any charter boat. This has to do with the systematic process of maintaining all the equipment and systems. It is obvious that a boat can never be made new. However, the necessary repairs and replacement can be performed on the boat during the phase-out in order to bring it back to a fair wear & tear condition. Any reputable company will be able to provide you with a copy of the phase-out maintenance. This will help you see all the areas that have been inspected and repaired.

· Contact the professionals

You can buy a charter boat from an individual or a charter company. If you contact an experienced yacht agent, he will be able to connect you to the right people. They will oversee the process of ensuring you get what you are looking for. He will provide references you can contact in order to find out their experience in the hands of the seller. However, regardless of whom you are buying from, it is advisable to hire the services of an independent surveyor who will be able to undertake a thorough inspection. He should be ready to check the engine, climb up the mast and be present for haul out.

Mlkyachts MEAMINA charter a yacht MEAMINA yacht charter MEAMINA mlkyacht broker MEAMINA yacht holidays MEAMINA super yacht20 - Three Things To Consider To Ensure A Memorable Bareboating Adventure

[ad_1]

If you are planning for a great ocean adventure with your family and friends, you can choose to be your own captain or charter a yacht that comes with its own crew. A bareboat charter lets you experience the fun and joy of being the captain on-board.

For you to charter a bareboat you need to have at least some basic sailing skills. In most cases, charter companies provide other services such as provisioning the vessel and providing sailing lessons to ensure that you get the most out of your trip. For those who are ready for a great bareboating adventure here are some things to consider to make your trip more fun and memorable.

Before Departing

The success of your sailing trip mostly depends on how well you prepare for it. Although you can easily make do with the things that charter companies provide for their bareboat charter clients, the items you bring from home can make the difference between an enjoyable trip and a disaster. Don’t forget to bring essential items from swim wear, medical supplies and hats to soft-sided cooler, swimming gears and pantry items.

Once you’ve packed all essential items for the trip, you’re now ready to have fun and enjoy! But before your crew jumps aboard, it is important to check if the boat is as ready as you are. Check everything from fuel tanks, water tanks to emergency gadgets and boat electronics.

Provisioning

You can either let the charter company to provision the boat for you or you can plan, pack and prepare your own foods and drinks for the whole trip. When you choose to provision your own boat you can actually choose what you want and save money at the same time. Before you create a provisioning plan, know if there are food markets and restaurants available near the marina. After doing so, prepare a menu and plan out the meals for each day of your trip according to your sail plan. Prepare foods that are good tasting, reasonably healthy and easy to prepare.

Living Aboard

It is important to make safety your number one priority. If you have kids onboard make specific instructions on what they can and cannot do during the trip and while onboard. In addition to safety precautions, water conversation is another important thing to consider Since water usage is likely the main factor on how often you need to go to the marina, you need to conserve water as much as you possibly can so you’ll have more boat fuel to go to exciting places instead of going to a port and refilling your water containers.

Another thing that you will need to deal with is the trash. Since there is no way you can dispose your trash while you’re out in the water, consider segregating wastes. Collect food scraps in a bottle and discard them when making passages. This will help reduce smelly odors that can easily attract wasps and other pesky insects.

Mlkyachts MEAMINA charter a yacht MEAMINA yacht charter MEAMINA mlkyacht broker MEAMINA yacht holidays MEAMINA super yacht19 - 4 Tips To Rent A Yacht That Will Make Your Cruise The Most Enjoyable And Memorable

[ad_1]

Yachts have for the longest time being considered as open only to those who can afford their luxurious nature. It is however very possible for you to enjoy a luxury yacht even if for only a few days of your holiday. With so many boat rentals available, you will definitely find a yacht that you can afford for your private or group cruise needs. There is really no better way of enjoying the waterways than in yacht and with a few helpful tips, you will be able to rent a yacht that makes all your dreams come true.

Tip 1 – Choose the right type of boat

There are different yacht charters to choose from to match your activity levels, budget and taste. You can go for a small sailing yacht or a motor yacht if you are looking for a romantic getaway for you and your partner. The same can also be suitable for a small family looking to spend an intimate time together. If you are a larger group, then a catamaran that is crewed makes a very suitable option, whereas a mega yacht is best for even larger groups made up of more than ten people. Remember yachts can also be rented for corporate getaways of the parties; whatever your needs, you will find one that works best for you.

Tip 2 – Get a fully crewed yacht

Most private and luxury yacht charters are fully-crewed meaning that you will have a captain and chef and other crew members to ensure that all your needs are met. Of course, there are people who would want to have the yacht all to themselves and hence choose to skipper themselves. But with a crewed yacht, you have all the time to sit back and relax or engage in other exciting activities on board without worrying about the boat at all.

Tip 3 – Go for a non-fixed itinerary

This can be a wonderful alternative compared to a fixed one where everything you do on the cruise is timed. When you choose a private charter yacht, you can make a loose itinerary such that you can stop whenever you want or stay longer in areas that interest you the most before moving to the next point. It is also a great way to deal with unpredictable weather because you can easily move to better places if the weather starts misbehaving. This kind of itinerary gives you flexibility that would otherwise be hard to enjoy. You will only be required to be back at the agreed time, but what you do in between is up to your preferences and agreement with your captain.

Tip 4 – Enjoy the cruise in your own style

When you charter a boat, you can choose to have an adrenaline filled adventure or a more relaxed kind of cruise for you and your partner. Most rental yachts come equipped with equipment for watersports meaning you can indulge as much as you wish if such adventure is what you are looking for. If relaxation is your thing, then find a vessel that has a therapist as part of its crew so you can enjoy a massage on the go. Some luxury yachts come with spa facilities so you can choose accordingly.

One of the truly intercontinental tourist destinations is the beautiful country of Turkey near the Mediterranean Sea. Turkey reflects the influences of both Europe and Asia and its coastlines are considered to be the most beautiful in the Mediterranean stretch. Tranquil and lonely coastlines, stunning beaches and amazing resorts dot the enchanting coasts of Turkey and each of them are virtually a great temptation to tourists and travellers but the best thing to try are the luxury gulet holidays in Turkey.

First let’s get down to the basics- a gulet is a traditional Mediterranean ship that was used mostly by traders and sometimes by fishermen. These traditional boats were made of wood and their length was their main characteristic. The modern day gulets are in no way different in shape but what has changed is that now they are designed more like luxury cruises and are used as such. No longer are gulets the choice of fishermen and traders, but they are mostly used for luxury cruises by holiday makers for a holiday out in the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean.

But other than the Mediterranean only, Turkey also offers the uniquely European coasts of the Adriatic Sea. This side of the Turkish coasts goes by the name of Croatian Blue and the highlights of this region are the medieval European cities and coasts like Dalmatia, Dubrovnik, Korcula and Krka Waterfalls, etc.

The historic legacy of Turkey can’t be visited in a single day and for that travellers need to charter gulet cruises Turkey. These cruises come in two varieties, one in which you book one along with some other travellers which will keep you in a group. The other one is in which you charter a single cruise where you can spend some real quality time with your near and dear ones. The latter is among the most popular ones as it guarantees immense peace and quiet along with great service and facilities. Be it snorkelling in the clear waters of Turquoise Bay, hiking on some secluded Mediterranean Islands or visiting some historic town on the coasts, Luxury gulet cruises in turkey have all the ingredients for a successful and memorable holiday.

You can find a whole host of gulet holidays Turkey and tour operators on the internet who have a variety of great deals on sale.
